As promised at last month’s luncheon, we have partnered with the Mental Health & Recovery Board of Portage County to host a Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Employer Workshop on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, 10:00AM-12:00PM, at Axess Family Services in Ravenna (705 Oakwood St). Seating is limited to 30 so register ASAP!
This session will include:
- Mental Health at Work Training
- QPR Suicide Prevention Training
- Info on mental health resources in Portage County

- Location: Axess Family Services, Community Room (Rm 101), 705 Oakwood St, Ravenna, OH 44266
- Costs: Free for PCSC Members
- Registration: Online registration required by January 30th, 2026 at 1pm (participants must register individually due to certification)
- Capacity: Seating is limited to 30 participants (min. 15)
- Credits: This event qualifies for up to one safety council External Training Credit.
- Certification: Participants who successfully complete this workshop will become certified QPR Gatekeepers.
